About Demo Construction

A small Regina crew that builds like the house is our own.

Demo Construction started in 2009 with a pickup, a table saw and a promise: quote it honestly, build it properly, and pick up the phone when the client calls. Seventeen years later we are twelve people strong and still run every job the same way.

We build for prairie weather. That means insulated slab edges, proper vapour control, ice-and-water shield where it counts, and framing that will not move when the clay under Regina does.

More about us
  • Licensed, insured and WCB-covered

Full commercial liability coverage, active WCB account and a City of Regina business licence. Certificates are sent with every quote.

  • Fixed-price quotes, no surprises

The number on the quote is the number on the final invoice unless you change the scope. Allowances are spelled out, not hidden.

  • One crew, start to finish

The people who quote your project run it. No hand-off to a stranger, no rotating cast of sub-contractors.

  • Built for prairie weather

Pile foundations for clay, R60 attics, ice-and-water shield, hail-rated shingles. We build for minus forty and plus thirty-five.

  • On schedule, and we tell you if not

You get a written schedule before we start and a same-day text if anything moves. Weather happens; silence does not.

  • Clean site, every single day

Zip walls, floor protection, dust extraction and a broom-clean site at the end of each day. Your neighbours will not know we were there.

How a project runs

Four steps from first call to keys in hand.

No surprises is a process, not a personality trait. Here is exactly what happens after you contact us.

  1. 01

    Site visit and listen

We come to you, measure, look at the structure and ask a lot of questions about how you live or run your business. No charge, no pressure.

  2. 02

    Design and fixed quote

You get drawings where they are needed, a written scope, and a fixed price with allowances spelled out, usually within five business days.

  3. 03

    Permits and scheduling

We handle City of Regina permits and engineering, order long-lead materials, and give you a day-by-day schedule before anyone shows up.

  4. 04

    Build, inspect, hand over

One crew builds it, inspectors sign it off, and we walk through every room with you before the final invoice. Then we are a phone call away for a year.

Client words

What Regina homeowners and business owners say.

Every review here is from a real client of ours and we can put you in touch with them.

The quote was the invoice, to the dollar. Cody and the crew were in and out in five weeks and the basement is warmer than the main floor. We have already sent two neighbours their way.

Karen and Dave MolnarBasement development, Harbour Landing

Mike met the adjuster on site, wrote the scope the way the insurer wanted it, and the new roof was on before the next storm rolled through. Zero hassle for me.

Gerry FitzpatrickRoof and siding after the July hail

Nine weeks from landlord approval to our first patient. Priya kept the schedule updated daily and handled every inspection. We would not open a second location with anyone else.

Common questions

Things clients ask before they hire us.

If your question is not here, call the office. A person answers.

Ask a question
Do you charge for quotes?

No. Site visits and written quotes are free within Regina city limits and the surrounding communities we serve. For projects more than an hour away we may ask for a small travel fee that is credited back if you hire us.

How long does a quote take?

Most quotes are sent within five business days of the site visit. Larger new-home and commercial projects that need drawings and engineering take two to three weeks, and we tell you that up front.

Do you handle City of Regina permits?

Yes. We apply for building, plumbing and electrical permits on your behalf, coordinate any engineering the City requires, and schedule every inspection. Permit fees are listed as a line item in your quote.

Are you licensed and insured?

We hold a City of Regina business licence, carry five million dollars in commercial general liability, and have an active WCB account. Certificates are attached to every quote and available any time on request.

Will the price change during the project?

Only if you change the scope, or if we open a wall and find something nobody could have seen. In either case you receive a written change order with the cost before any extra work starts. Nothing is added to the invoice without your signature.

Do you build in winter?

Yes. Interior work such as basements, kitchens and commercial build-outs runs year-round and winter is often the fastest time to book. Foundations, roofing and exterior work are scheduled April through November, weather permitting.

What warranty do you offer?

One year on all workmanship, on top of manufacturer warranties on materials. New homes carry Saskatchewan New Home Warranty coverage. If something we built is not right, call and we fix it.

How do payments work?

A deposit of ten percent secures your start date. Progress payments follow the milestones written in your contract, and the final ten percent is due after your walkthrough sign-off. We accept cheque, e-transfer and financing through our lending partner.
